UPMC Natrona Heights - CT Imaging Suite

Project Name: UPMC CT Imaging Suite
Client: University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
Delivery Method: General Contractor
Dick Building Company served as the general contractor for the renovation and upgrades to UPMC St. Margarets, Natrona Heights CT imaging suite. Working within an active hospital setting, the project required strict adherence to ICRA Class IV compliance and infectious control standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
The scope included the removal of existing CT equipment, followed by installation of new structural steel supports for advanced overhead rail systems to accommodate state-of-the-art imaging technology. Comprehensive upgrades were performed across HVAC, electrical and structural systems, including the addition of a new medical gas system to meet evolving clinical and equipment requirements.
In additional to the technical upgrades, our team renovated an adjacent restroom to meet ADA standards, all while maintaining clean construction protocols and seamless coordination with hospital operations. The result was a modernized, fully compliant CT suite designed to support enhanced diagnostic capabilities.
