Dick Building Company was selected as the general contractor for Krystal Biotech; a gene therapy biotechnology company focused on developing and delivering medicines to patients with genetic life-threatening or rare diseases. Headquartered in the seven-story Terminal Building on Pittsburgh’s South Side, Dick Building Company converted 12,586 square-feet on two floors into sleek, open and welcoming office space. In addition to creating a series of private offices along the perimeter,

Dick Building Company constructed a range of amenities, including glass-walled conference rooms and inviting kitchen and lounge spaces. The scope of the office space conversion included new gypsum board assemblies, modern ceiling systems, painting and new carpet throughout. The HVAC and electrical systems were updated to support advanced lighting and A/V requirements. Open and constant communication among all stakeholders ensured the project was completed efficiently and to the client’s expectations.
