The 9,000-square-foot renovation reinvents the space as a distinctive wedding and event venue that combines preserved historic character with contemporary finishes and modern amenities.
The scope of work included interior demolition of existing flooring and wall coverings along with the selective removal of doors, frames and lighting to maximize the opportunities for reuse. The project features new lighting as well as updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. New wall coverings, flooring and fixtures are throughout the space along with the addition of new restrooms.
The charm of the mezzanine level was enhanced by installing new railings, flooring, and a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system for improved heating and cooling. Acoustic flooring and sound-dampening ceiling treatment were added to enhance comfort and reduce vibration. The finished space features a striking black-and-white checkered dance floor framed by original columns, a mezzanine for additional seating, and dedicated areas for food preparation and storage — creating a venue that blends historic charm with a fresh, modern appeal.
