Dick Building Company was the general contractor for this adaptive reuse project which transformed 169,000 SF of what was office space on the fourth through eighth floors into 174 luxury apartments. The reimagined space includes two-bedroom units, one-bedroom units and studios.
The apartments feature quality finishes such as granite countertops, marble tile, wooden flooring and energy efficient A/C and heat. The inclusion of the latest in smart technology is a key feature in each apartment as are the array of amenities which will consist of weight and cardio rooms, a yoga/Pilates studio, a bike studio, a movie theater, a billiards room, a party room, a resident lounge, a business center and a dog wash room. In addition to the visual updates, all new plumbing, electrical and a sprinkler system have been installed. Our work was performed while the hotel, county office, and Penguin’s Foundation were in operation above and below the fourth and eighth floors.
Philadelphia-based Core Realty is the building owner and the architect is Strada Architecture.
