Veterans Leadership Program Headquarters in Braddock, PA

VLP’s mission is to empower every U.S. military veteran to reach their fullest potential. The organization serves all veterans—regardless of VA eligibility, discharge status or length of service. VLP provides programs focused on housing, counseling, career development and wellness. This new facility will enable VLP to expand its reach and better support veterans with updated amenities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
The transformation of the former Good Shepherd School into VLP’s operational headquarters is well underway. Selective demolition has been completed, and interior framing and MEP installation are progressing throughout the building. A new elevator and entryway are being constructed to improve accessibility, while the upper floors are being converted into temporary housing units and meeting space. The ground level will feature amenities and programing space designed to foster community and connection.
Dick Building Company is thrilled to be supporting a project that provides resources for those who have served our country. It’s an honor to contribute our expertise to creating a space that will have such a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans across Western Pennsylvania and beyond.
