Dick Building Company recently completed GC work on two multi-family boutique condominiums in Deerfield Beach, FL – The Fordham and Elysian. Each condo building is roughly 25,000 SF and took less than two years to complete. The Fordham is four levels above grade while the Elysian is five levels above grade.
The four-story, multi-family construction of The Fordham building has nine, two- and three-bedroom condominium units ranging from 1,200 to 1,500 SF. The building also has a two-level, below grade precast parking garage. Building features include expansive floor plans, panoramic glass windows, high-end finishes, open living areas, spacious terraces and a landscaped pool area. Interior finishes include rectified porcelain tile, imported Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances.
The five-story Elysian building houses six, one- and two-bedroom, two-bathroom units ranging from 1,200 to 1,750 SF. The plan originally called for 7 units; however, the fourth floor was modified part-way through the project. The two units on the fourth floor were combined to create one larger unit.
The Elysian is supported on concrete piles approximately 35 feet deep. The structure is comprised of cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete beams, composite floor slabs and a stucco finish. Much like The Fordham’s design, each Elysian unit features spacious, open floor plans, panoramic glass windows, high-end finishes, terraces and a landscaped pool area. Interior finishes also include rectified porcelain tile, imported Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances.
